@hotelpuntaislita was one of the most #inspiring places I visited with @greenspottravel. Their community development projects have been so successful and are so touching that hearing about them and seeing their effect in the local people nearly brought me to tears a few times. They’re also very focused on conservation. One of the projects they support is called the #AraProject, which helps in the #conservation and reintroduction of #Macaws in the area. They have been doing pretty well and it’s actually very common to see them around town and in the hotel feeding on the Almendro trees. Here’s a couple of them showing some love.
