#Thunderstorm at #Ostional #Beach, close to #Nosara. @greenspottravel took me to this beach, which is a preferred nesting spot for sea turtles all year round. It is also a protected area and you may only go turtle sighting with a local guide, both for the protection of the turtles and for the benefit of the community. These people do a great job of taking care of the turtles and their eggs. They are very well informed, and have a pretty cool story to tell on how this activity has developed. Also, they all contribute so there will be rangers patrolling the beach to make sure no one steals the eggs and that turtles are treated well and respected as they should.

As you may notice if you take a quick look at my Instagram, I’m quite the sucker for a good #sunset. During my stay at #CasaCorcovado with @greenspottravel I got to see one of the most magnificent ones I can recall from the Margarita bar, which boasts an incredible #view of Isla Del Caño. This is just one of about 5 different amazing sunsets that we got to see in just one afternoon. It was crazy.

This is gallery dedicated to the historic monument of The Old Lighthouse of Cabo Falso!

I was invited once again by Yenekamu AC, this time to document the first ceremony on-site to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the first time the Old Lighthouse was ever run.
As part of the people present, they had invited schools, so the kids could see (some for the first time) this historic monument that belongs to them and sing the national anthem.
There were also local pesonalities present, like Municipal President Tony Agundez, Professor Domingo Saiza representing Yenekamu AC, and Heriberto Malcampo from Pueblo Bonito Group.

Hope you enjoy these!

Definitely one of the best gigs I’ve done so far, this is a little bit of Adventure Week Baja Sur.

AdventureWeek is a program offered by the Adventure Travel Trade Association that can be hired by any destination to promote their Adventure Travel activities.
They bring around 20 people from important media and travel agencies that are hand picked to make sure the news reach the right market for the destination.

This time it was requested by Visit Baja Sur, and they did a great job preparing an excellent trip for everybody involved.
Showcasing everything we did would require a bunch of pictures, but here’s a sneak peek of this great trip with awesome people around my own region.

This is one of the first trips I took with Daniel Perez from Baja Climbers Society outside of the gym.
Vico Caballero, a local teacher and artist, also joined us to get away from town for a while and find the inspiration to finish writing one a song.

The day was perfect, and there I discovered one of my favourite spots in Baja Sur and maybe even the world: the small pool where Dany and his dog Lola are diving into.
With that small cave to chill in, the beautiful colours, the fresh water to jump into and surrounded by walls to practice climbing very close by, I could live there!
