The way to La Poza Oscura in San Dionisio from the place we were #camping in a little bit higher up the #canyon, has some pretty cool #sights for photography. It also requires good balance, a little bit of #climbing skills, mastery of heights, and some help for our #canine buddies to make it through the obstacles like Casey did here helping little Naya onto this #rock.

#FBF to #hiking up #Sierra de la Laguna, the highest mountain range of #Baja California Sur, with an amazing team of friends for my birthday.
These are @anniecardosoo and Casey being good sports sitting still for 25 seconds times 10 tries until we got it right at Poza de Pepe, our first #camping stop during the ascent.

La Poza Oscura just might be the biggest #natural #pool you can find in #Baja (it’s by far the largest I’ve seen). It’s said to be about 15m deep.
Normally you arrive by the far side you can see in the photo, which makes it easier to access, but since we set camp a little higher up the #canyon, we had to #hike down braving a few challenging spots, then jump in in turns, #swim for a bit, #climb around the other side of the canyon, and pull each other back up with a towel.
Quite a complete #adventure!
